Kumiki Climbing Flooring Systems use multi-density foam layers to attenuate falls. The layers are placed over a vapor barrier and edges of each foam piece are glued together for a uniform fall zone. Floor covering options:
- Carpet-bonded foam with integral hook and loop connection
- Sewn Cordura® or vinyl
Many colors of each material are available to match your facility Options for fall zone edging include hard or soft curbs, ramps or squared-off sides. Seating can be built in for climbers to put on shoes. Depending on your building stage, flooring can also be inlayed into your sub-floor to reduce tripping hazards. We have the techniques to customize the transition between the floors to fit the space and use.
